The Break

Parking.

Hesitation,

Waiting,

Knowing.

Anxious.

Heartbeats,

Rapid,

Pounding,

Unsteady.

Trembling.

Deferred,

Confirmed.

Denial.

Teardrops,

Droplets,

Dripping,

Dropped.

Blurred,

Distorted,

Swallow.

Inhale.

Pleading.

Aching.

Rejected.

Grasping,

Questioning,

Uncharted.

Apprehensive,
